I am Dr. Romina R. Heymann. Glad you stopped by!

I’m a tutor, mentor, trainer, and scientist with more than 15+ years of experience explaining difficult chemistry topics at all levels. I created Easy Chemistry Tutoring (ECT), a woman-owned business, as I finished my Ph.D. in photo-organic chemistry. Through mentoring, I empower all my students to reach their goals no matter how much they struggle in these challenging science courses.

Truth Time:
The earlier you start studying, working hard, and tutoring, the more likely it will be that you will pass the class!!!

Second Truth:
You can get an A or B, or C! I have no doubt you can do it!

Third Truth:
It is cheaper to get a tutor than to retake a class. Calculate time lost, tuition, and even money spent on living expenses because of an extra semester to graduate. It adds up! Your time is precious and valuable!

Last Truth:
Failing an exam or even retaking a class is not the end of the world. No matter what happens you can overcome anything.

Basically, all in all you saved me a ton of time. I felt bad for some of my friends in the class, because unfortunately without your help they seemed to be struggling with less effective ways of learning the material. I would highly recommend your services to anyone looking for an Orgo tutor!!

The Material: Simple explanations, fun examples, lots of worksheets WITH answers, and stories about the crazy life of molecules that you can understand.

The Knowledge: We will summarize all reactions/information. Ensure all your notes are correct and you have the test-taking SKILLS to pass. You can spend less, but I’m like having a professor on your side. A professor who knows your pain!! (Ph.D.!)

The Accountability: I will check up on you, I will quiz you, and I will do everything that I can to make sure YOU reach your goals!

UMD STATS: FEAR THE TURTLE NOT CHEMISTRY

Typical results: 10 to 50 point increase in Exam scores after starting.

Lowest exam score a student got before they started tutoring with me and still passed the class? 15/150 = 10%

Spring/Fall 2023: 98% Pass rate.

Spring 2022: 97% passing students and two A+s!
